A very handy site to use to create some fun logos, bullets, or buttons is CoolText. When you visit the site, select either Logo, Button, or Bullet to start the process of creating your image.
If you choose Logo, you select the font type to start creating your logo. The next figure shows the controls you get to modify the Bovinated font. Enter your text. Then use the drop down list to select your font type (and you'll see what it looks like right away). Enter your font size. You can also modify the background color (although I left it as white).

When you are ready, click on the Create Logo button and wait a couple of minutes. You'll get a screen with your logo. Right click on the logo to save to you local hard drive. Then you can do what you wish with the image. If you don't like it, hit the back button, make your modifications and create a new logo. Easy!
There are many other font types available. Here is an example of the Engraver font.

If you want a bullet instead, there are several to choose from.

Plus it is easy to change the color, the lighting, and more. Then click on render, and there you have it. Not happy? Make your changes and render again.
